Our ball and dowel and spindle trims
are a simple and cost-effective way of decorating
long, open areas, between porch posts for example.
They may be used by themselves, or brackets may
be placed under them in the corners to increase
the decorative effect. The 1" wide rails match
the 1" wide frames of our brackets.
The running
trims shown in this section are built to your specific length
requirements at the unit cost on the price list. When figuring
pricing, all lengths are rounded off to the next nearest half
foot. Example: 4 ft. 3 in. would be priced at 4-1/2 feet.
In applications requiring long runs of continuous trim, it
is advisable to break them up into equal sections with a post
drop between them, or we also offer precision doweling. A
post
drop is a long square post, with a finial attached to
the end.
