Our Sawn Balusters are are cut from 3/4" thick materials. Our lowest pricing reflects Cypress which has moderate weather resistance. PVC and Mahogany are high performance materials which should be considered in areas with high humidity or harsh winter conditions. Though PVC and Mahogany have a higher initial cost, they save money in replacement years later. The PVC is white in color and needs no painting if that is your final color of choice. We can vary the amount of square (the area above
and below scroll cut) to suit your specific hand rail
height requirements. Stair balusters are normally longer to provide enough room to cut an angle on each end. We can help you determine what length you will need. Just give us a call and we will be glad to help!
